My monument cost more than $5000. Can I purchase two $5000 policies to get $10,000.00 worth of coverage on it?
No – The coverage limits of Eternal Care’s policies were developed to meet Pennsylvania Insurance Department requirements for actuarial soundness. You can still purchase a policy and we will cover up to $5000 worth of damage. If the damage is more than $5000, we will pay $5000 toward the purchase of a new monument.
Can I get 40 years of coverage by purchasing two 20 Year policies for my monument?
No – The term limits of Eternal Care’s policies were developed to meet Pennsylvania Insurance Department requirements for actuarial soundness. Our polices are renewable at the end of their 10 or 20 year terms.
What if it costs less than $5000 to repair my monument?
The remaining balance will be available to satisfy future claims. For example, if the Company pays $1000 to repair the damage, you will have $4000 in coverage left to satisfy any future claims.
Can I list a second person for the Company to contact in the event of a claim?
Yes. Simply provide us with the name, address and phone number of the person when you submit the Application. We will keep the information on file.
Can I purchase coverage for a monument located in Ohio or West Virginia?
At this time, Eternal Care Insurance is only being offered in Pennsylvania. We hope to expand into other states in the near future.
